i m a telecom engineer with 2yr exp. i want to knew about executive mba, can i do this? i dont know much about mba programmes, which course is better for me.

Hi there,
I want to do an MBA and can’t decide if I should go to a top school or an average school. I want to know if it’s worth going to a top school. I am not rich so would have to get a loan in both the cases. The top school costs aout 60K and an average school is about 20K. I would gain a similar skillset while studying this program at any of the school but when it comes to getting a top notch position the employers will look at the “top school” grads as opposed to average school grads. Then it also depends on my ability to communicate and show my skillset regardless of which school I have graduated from. The advantage of working in a top school is that I get a chance to study and compete with big executives, whereas in an average school I will be competing with average people like me. If I work with people of higher calibre then I could learn more from them as compared to people of my level.So the question is, should I go for a top school or an average school?

While earning an undergraduate degree in natural resource management, Radhika Desai’s classmates often referred to her as “our friend who likes to cook.” Later, as a park ranger stationed in sweltering Death Valley, colleagues would visit her trailer for home cooked meals. As she told India Currents magazine in a recent interview, the more she delighted in seeing how friends and family members reacted to her latest culinary creations, the more she considered switching careers.

I want to apply for a “Corporate” MBA program with a concentration in Pharmaceutical Management. What is meant by the term Corporate MBA? I’ve heard the term “Executive MBA” used before, but I’m not quite sure is implied by a “Corporate” MBA versus a regular one. Basically, I want to get an MBA that will connect me to the healthcare industry. In other words, I want to get a focused degree so I can make some big bucks! Any input? (The school I’m interested in is AACSB accredited, btw.) I worry though because I’m only 22 and I only hold about 3 years of professional work experience.
